Located on the banks of the Murray River, GIGS - Gateway Island Gallery and Studios is a gallery that features high quality contemporary works from over 60 regional artists and includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, pottery, ceramics, photography, textiles and jewellery. The public are welcome to come and watch artists at work within the GIGS Studios. GIGS is an artist-run space and part of the voluntary non profit organisation, Arts Wodonga. The gallery is part of an arts precinct that has two other galleries, woodcrafters, a jazz club, theatre, cafe and hotel. There are shaded picnic and barbecue areas, walking and cycling tracks all situated on the banks of the Murray River.
